Judging: Once I have received all the stories I will replace the authors' names with numbers and send them to the judges. The judges will not know whose story they are reading nor will the authors know who is judging the stories. By keeping everyone anonymous it ensures that the stories are fairly judged. The judges are everyday people that have decided to give their time to read and evaluate the erotic stories. They could be fellow writers, but the judging position is not limited to just writers. All I ask is that the judges are fair and honest when giving the reviews. The judges read the erotic stories then fill out an evaluation sheet for each story. (Please note: This may change with each round. To find out what exactly is being judged see the evaluation sheet.)Your story will be scored and commented given on 12 categories that add up to 100 pts. Title, Story Description, Setting, Characterization, Plot, Dialogue, Sex scene(s)/Sex scene(s) dialogue, Fluid/ Clarity/ Continuation, Original section, Originality /Creativeness, Spelling, Grammar, and punctuation, Overall impression There are also three categories that are commented on but not scored. Beginning, Ending, and Confusing or odd parts. Each author is asked to submit a question or two that is specific to their story or anything else they would like to know what doesn't appear on the evaluation sheet. The judges are instructed not to judge the original section. Any spelling, grammar, punctuation, or structural errors in the section will not be used against your score. The only way the original section will be judged is how it fits into your erotic story. To see a detailed evaluation sheet click here.
