How is the winner chosen: When I receive all the evaluation sheets back from the judges I will tally the scores. The winner is the person with the highest score. The winner gets to write the 'original section' for the next round of the challenge. It is my opinion that every one wins in the challenge because you get to see how people feel about your story and you get to challenge your writing skills. What to do after the judging: After I receive the judges' scores and comments back I will post the winner and send the individual evaluations out to the writers. The rest will be placed in a password protected section on the site (Writer's Box p7). At the completion of the challenge you are free to do what you wish with the story. We encourage you to post your story on ES, before or after you make any changes that you wish. You are also encouraged to ask any questions to the judges on the Story Feedback and Review Board after the challenge is over. You can also post a request on the board to get more opinions on your story for other board members and ES readers.NEW on the CsChallenge site: We have our very own forum that you are welcome to use to ask the judges questions and discuss the stories in the challenge (as long as that round is over). All we ask is that you respect the rules we have set on it. |
