If possible please send your file in as a .doc file. If you cannot send it in as a .doc let me know so we can work something out.

Place the title of your story at the top of the first page the file, followed by the word count for your story, including the word count of the original story section.

Next on the page place the story description. This description should be no longer than 255 characters (standard ES allowance) and should give a truthful description of the story. We all know that on ES the description is what gets our stories read so use it to "sell the story", as Art would say.

After the description, mark the beginning of your story. The body of your story should be the last item in the file.

Please do not place your name in the file with the story. Your story will be sent to the judge with a story number on it instead of the author's name. This is how we ensure your story will be judged fairly.

1. Upload the file your story is in to c_s_challenge@lycos.com.

2. In the body of the e-mail include the title of your story, word count, and story description.

3. Also include one or two question(s) you would like to ask the judges about your story. The questions can be specific to your story or something that was not asked on the evaluation sheet.
