Judging Information
- Once I have received all the stories I replace the authors' names with numbers and send them to the judges.
- As a judge you will not know whose story you are reading nor will the authors know who is judging the stories. By trying to keep every one anonymous it ensures that the stories are more fairly judged.
- You are asked to be fair and honest when giving the reviews.
- You are to judge the author's use of the elements that are being judged, and not how one story compares to the other.
As a judge you will read the erotic stories then fill out an evaluation sheet for each story.

To find out what exactly is being judged see the evaluation sheet.)Title, Story Description, Setting, Characterization, Plot, Dialogue, Sex scene(s)/Sex scene(s) dialogue, Fluid/ Clarity/ Continuation, Original section, Originality/ Creativeness, Spelling, grammar, and punctuation, Overall impression
- There are also three categories that are to be commented on but not scored.
Beginning, Ending, and Confusing or odd parts.
- Each author will be asked to submit a question or two what is specific to their story or anything else they would like to know what doesn't appear on the evaluation sheet. These will be added to the evaluation sheets that I will e-mail to you.
- As a judge, you are instructed not to judge the original section. Any spelling, grammar, punctuation, or structural errors in that section will not be used against the writer's score. The only way the original section should be judged is how it fits into the erotic story.
